Bible Verses About Ascension

There is much debate surrounding the Ascension of Jesus Christ, with many people unsure of what exactly it is or what it means. The Bible does give some insights into Ascension, however, and what it means for followers of Christ. In the Ascension, Jesus is taken up into Heaven by God, and seated at the right hand of the Father. This event signified Jesus’ return to the Father and His glorification in Heaven. Additionally, the Ascension serves as a promise to believers that they too will one day be united with Christ in Heaven.
