Bible Verses About Baptism

Baptism is an important step of obedience for the Christian. It is a symbol of our new life in Christ and our commitment to following Him. The Bible has a lot to say about baptism. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus tells His disciples to go and baptize all nations in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This shows us that baptism is not just for a select few, but for everyone.

In Acts 2:38, Peter tells us that baptism is necessary for the forgiveness of sins. This shows us that baptism is not just a symbolic act, but one that has real power. Baptism is an important sacrament in the Christian faith. It is an outward symbol of the inward decision to follow Christ. When a person is baptized, they are identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. This is an important moment in the life of a believer, and one that should not be taken lightly.
