Bible Verses About Beauty

What does the Bible say about beauty? This may surprise you, but the Bible has a lot to say about beauty! In fact, the Bible talks about beauty in many different ways. For example, the Bible talks about physical beauty, inner beauty, and spiritual beauty. The Bible also talks about beauty in relation to God, others, and ourselves.

The Bible is clear that our inner beauty is far more important than our outer beauty. God looks at our hearts, not our appearance (1 Samuel 16:7). We are to focus on having a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight (1 Peter 3:4). When we have these things, our inner beauty will shine through, regardless of our physical appearance.

In Genesis, we read about God creating the world and everything in it, including humans. He created us in His image, so we have the ability to reflect His beauty. The Psalms are full of references to God’s beauty, and how we can find beauty in Him. In the New Testament, we see Jesus teaching about the beauty of God’s kingdom and how we can find true beauty in following Him. As we seek to follow God and live according to His Word, we can find true beauty in Him.
